Wow! Where does the time go?

Somehow, I think, as you get older the minutes and hours get shorter. I don’t know how that works but I don’t ever seem to get as much done in the same amount of time as it used to take. What’s up with that?
I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. The bird is gone and so is Black Friday. Can you believe Christmas is less that three weeks away! I’ve been busy tho. My grand daughter’s quilt is almost quilted and ready for binding.2014-12-05 13.51.15

I finished my Judy Neimeyer tablerunner class. The top is done. I just need to quilt and bind it. Maybe it will get done in time for Christmas THIS year…….lol. Whoops! You can see my toes. 2014-12-05 13.52.21
And like I don’t have any other projects to do……silly me…..I started Bonnie Hunter’s Grand Illusion Mystery Quilt. I almost have half of clue #1 done. Clue #2 came out today but I haven’t really figured it out yet. Looks like it will cause some headaches if you’re not careful.2014-12-05 13.53.18
Enjoy this season and Happy Quilting!

    Hi Charlotte,

What pattern did you use for your Granddaughters quilt. I love it. I want to make it! So beautiful.

      Hi Lori,
My granddaughters quilt pattern is adapted from Aunt Gracie’s Garden. You can find the pattern at FonsandPorter.com. I used the Tri-Recs tool to cut the 54-40 or Fight triangles. I’ve had this tool for a long time but I rarely use it, so this was a good opportunity to refresh my memory. And, I love the way it looks too. Thanks!
